Around Alone is the longest race on earth for an individual in any sport. Millions of fans from around the world have discovered the race in its past five runnings.

The Around Alone race is a global circumnavigation around the two great capes with stops in South Africa, New Zealand, Uruguay, the United States and England. Beginning September of 2002, up to 30 contestants will start in a swirl of global media attention.
