Leveraging the information technology resources made available by Around Alone as well as new, exclusive work of our own, Everest Horizontal will connect local and regional schools with the event, the sailor and the boat. Through the Internet and it's non-profit foundation, called Everest Horizontal Education, the program will provide a unique learning tool that will connect schoolchildren around the Great Lakes to the world around them.
